None of the CVs and application forms I handed in got me anywhere - Canongate didn't need anyone in their office, all the full-time shop jobs I applied for turned me down (probably because I was overqualified), and I didn't get an interview with Edinburgh Stimulant Users Services, which is a shame because it would have been a great job. I even applied to Yo! Sushi to train as a chef, but the bloke didn't call back after the interview. I spent the entire day in the flat yesterday, because he said he'd phone Monday daytime to tell me if I'd got it or not, and - nothing. Not leaving the flat damn near drove me mad, too.

I have more news - it's good news - but I'm being kicked out of the computer room. Later.
