“This is the part of the record where I like everybody to stand up, throw your hands in the air, and KISS MY ASS! cos your girlfriend STILL loves me!”

The tone sums up the way I’m feeling at the moment, although I wouldn't have put it quite like that. For some reason I’m in quite a triumphant mood despite having done nothing all day. And by now I would have finished my CV had the computer not crashed twice, wiping the changes I’d made (and yes, I did try and save them every so often, but evidently not often enough). But I remain unbowed. Cinema tonight, with a couple of mates I haven’t seen for a while - Together by Lukas Moodysson. Might give you a review when I get back, depending how I feel.

More triumphant-feeling-feeding news: the big red Warp magic fun-bus is touring Europe in May and June, after I finish exams and before I go to the States. Life just gets better...

Food now. I’ll finish the CV later. Have been hoping all day that I don’t end up settling for the job that involves an 8-hour day working 5.30am - 1.30pm, Monday to Friday. Surely I deserve something better... funny how quite a few d-landers are talking about job-finding troubles. Must be the season. Nature priking in folk's corages, making them longen to goon on pilgrimages. Or something. And yeah, I did have to look that up.

“The girls loved me more than Patrick Swayze, when I had my steady income...”
